POSTURE: The S-Posture
is a swing fault that can be caused by the player creating too
much arch in their lower back by sticking their tailbone out too
much in the set up position. Can lead to lower back injuries.
C-Posture is used to describe a posture that occurs when your
shoulders are slumped forward at address and you have a
definitive roundness to your lower back.
BALANCE: The ability of
the golfer to maintain an erect position throughout the swing.
STABILITY: How stable a
golfer is with their swing? Common swing faults that are found
with most golfers are usually a sway or a slide. This is defined
by too much lateral movement away or towards the target line
during the swing.
MOBILITY: How much
mobility a player has throughout the golf swing? A player that
usually lacks mobility in the golf swing will hang back. The
golfer will have a lack of power and a lack of consistency when
striking the ball.
POWER: Training for
power is training safe ways to move quickly. Power is dependant
on mobility and strength. Being without either component
usually causes inconsistencies.
COORDINATION: Improving
coordination promotes a more desirable swing path.
ENDURANCE: Increasing
endurance avoids mental mistakes.

TESTIMONIAL
“I enjoyed the
workshop. I love Golf and also love golf specific workouts. I
think the TPI system is quite unique. The assessment/evaluation
is one of a kind in my estimation. Besides the evaluation— I
think the next most important piece is at least a
follow-up visit or two. You must be accountable within the next
couple of weeks to do the exercises because of the follow-up
visit or test from the instructor...that is key to get in the
habit of doing the exercises” —Thomas
